It's a modern weigh-price labeling unit capable of producing thermally stable, smear-proof labels made of normal paper, plastic or film, optionally using the thermal or thermal transfer printing technique.

Application

The thermal printer GH is designed for weight and price labeling in retailing, distribution and industrial environments.

Functions

The unit prints flexible weight-related or fixed price labels, either using thermal or thermal transfer printing, and features a label dispenser for manual labeling. The unit is equipped as standard with an RS 232 C/V 24 interface for connection to data processing systems (PC, laptop, host) optional available RS 422, TTY and TCP/IP.

State-of-the-art technology

The GH is fitted with a back-lit full LCD graphic display whose light/dark control facility permits ideal adjustment to different lighting conditions. The clearly arranged alphanumerical tactile keypad permits fast, simple entry of data. Flexibly assigned function keys (soft keys) captioned in the display further simplify operation. For quick access to the most frequently printed label layouts, up to 31 direct PLU keys can be assigned. Particular strengths of the GH: Fast, brilliant printout as a result of high resolution and high print density. More information condensed into less space without compromising legibility – meaning optimum label space utilization. A wide number of different font types and sizes offers optimum scope for individual label designs. Print rotation through 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° is possible. True Type Fonts allows printouts with customer defined CI.

Operation

Selective operator prompting with auxiliary display functions guarantees maximum reliability and substantially reduces work sequences. Both in the free-standing and the table-top version, the GH permits ergonomically optimized fatigue-free working, as well as ideal adaptation to the respective production environment. Long operating times are made possible by a large label supply in the unit and optimum data safety due to password-protected access – all additional benefits loading scale in favor of this fully automatic weigh-price labeling machine. Label rolls can be quickly and simply exchanged. The thermal printing head offers particularly simple access for trouble-free cleaning. All functional components and the label roll are protected by a durable housing.
