A ‘mission control center' for your scales
ePLUM puts everything your support personnel need right at their fingertips through its unique Enterprise Scale Manager interface. From a central location, you can monitor and manage all the scales in your enterprise, view scales by store or department, check pending batches or any in-progress scale actions—and be alerted to any scale transmission errors. To make it easier to find critical information, ePLUM gives you the ability to sort event log records by scale, batch and configuration.
The solution that communicates
ePLUM manages serial and TCP/IP scale information in real time. It makes status information accessible centrally from the Enterprise Scale Manager, remotely by cell phone or in-store through a Web browser, a Web-enabled PDA, or even one of your own weigh-scales.
By default, the Enterprise Scale Manager checks each scale's on-line status regularly over your network. You can configure how often status checks are performed and disable displays of the latest status temporarily while performing other functions. What's more, ePLUM proactively notifies you of problems before they occur. Because your staff have more important tasks than monitoring a computer screen 24/7, ePLUM automatically informs support staff by e-mail or pager based on error severity. If the page or e-mail is not received, ePLUM displays previously sent messages when the application is accessed.

ePLUM is a flexible software solution designed to run on most configurations and platforms. Depending on your needs, ePLUM can be run entirely from a central location or provide in-store functionality and redundancy running on the hardware of your choice: the Invatron Serial Gateway. Server, a PC, or most in-store processors (ISPs). It can be run on multiple application servers to facilitate effective load balancing. Further, it can interface with third party systems for item management such as Invatron's PLUM Host. As your needs change, ePLUM can evolve in harmony with your evolving store systems strategy.
